We stand behind every piece we sell. This page explains your rights as a customer, what our warranty covers, how to make a claim, and how our after-sales maintenance service works.

Our Commitment to You

At Grove Furniture & Beyond, we believe the relationship with our customers does not end at the point of purchase. The American brands we carry are built to last — and we back that up with a clear, honest warranty policy and a dedicated after-sales maintenance service. Whether you have a question about a finish, a concern about a mechanism, or a piece that has not performed as expected, we are here to make it right.

Manufacturing Defect Coverage

If a piece of furniture fails due to a manufacturing defect — a fault in the materials, the construction, or the finishing process that is the result of how the piece was made rather than how it was used — Grove Furniture & Beyond will repair or replace the affected piece or component at no cost to you.

A manufacturing defect includes, but is not limited to:

  • Structural joint failure under normal conditions of use (e.g. a leg, drawer frame, or table apron that cracks, separates, or collapses without misuse or impact)
  • Drawer mechanisms that fail, jam, or break under normal opening and closing cycles
  • Finish defects present at the time of delivery, including bubbling, peeling, cracking, or uneven coating that was not caused by the customer
  • Veneer lifting or delaminating from its substrate under normal indoor conditions
  • Hardware — pulls, hinges, and legs — that breaks, bends, or fails under normal use
  • Foam cushions that compress permanently, sag, or lose their shape abnormally quickly within the warranty period
  • Upholstery seams or stitching that split or unravel without physical abuse

Repair or Replacement

Our decision to repair or replace a piece is based on the nature and extent of the defect:

  • If the defect is isolated — a single component, a finish issue, or a mechanical failure — we will send a technician to assess and repair the piece at your location, or arrange for the component to be replaced.
  • If the defect affects the structural integrity of the piece in a way that cannot be fully restored through repair, or if the piece is beyond reasonable repair, we will replace it with the same model or — if that model is no longer available — with a comparable piece of equal or greater value.

We will not ask you to pay for labor, parts, or transport for any claim that results from a confirmed manufacturing defect.

The 1-Year Free Maintenance Warranty

On selected pieces and collections, Grove Furniture & Beyond offers a 1-year complimentary maintenance warranty from the date of delivery. Where this warranty applies, it will be clearly stated on your purchase invoice or product listing.

What It Includes

  • One scheduled in-home inspection during the warranty period, at your request, to assess the condition of the piece and address any emerging issues
  • Adjustment of doors, drawers, and hinges that have shifted or gone out of alignment through normal settling and use
  • Touch-up of minor finish chips or surface marks that were present at delivery or developed through normal use, at our technician's discretion
  • Tightening and re-securing of loose hardware, joints, and leg connections
  • Assessment and replacement of any mechanical component — including drawer guides, soft-close mechanisms, and table leaf locks — that has failed under normal use
  • Telephone and in-store consultation on care, cleaning, and maintenance questions throughout the warranty period

Conditions

  • The piece must have been purchased new from Grove Furniture & Beyond
  • The piece must have been used under normal household conditions in a residential setting, unless otherwise agreed in writing at the time of purchase
  • The warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser only
  • Claims must be submitted within the 12-month period from the verified delivery date
  • The piece must not have been modified, repaired, or treated by a third party without prior written authorization from Grove Furniture & Beyond

What Is Not Covered

Our warranty and maintenance service covers manufacturing defects and the commitments outlined above. The following are not covered:

Normal Wear & Tear

All furniture experiences gradual, natural aging with regular use. This includes minor surface scratches that develop over time, natural color variation in leather and wood as they age, slight softening of foam cushions after extended daily use, and the natural patina that develops on metal hardware and wood finishes. These are characteristics of quality natural materials, not defects.

Customer-Caused Damage

Damage resulting from misuse, accidents, or failure to follow care instructions is not covered. This includes staining or water damage caused by spills that were not blotted immediately, burns or heat damage from placing hot items directly on wood or upholstered surfaces, scratches and gouges caused by dragging furniture or sharp objects, and structural damage caused by exceeding the weight capacity of the piece.

Environmental Damage

Damage caused by environmental conditions that are outside normal household parameters is not covered. This includes warping, cracking, or finish failure caused by prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, excessive indoor humidity, placement near radiators or air conditioning units, or storage in outdoor, semi-outdoor, or uncontrolled environments.

Unauthorized Modifications

Any repair, modification, or treatment carried out by a third party without prior written authorization from Grove Furniture & Beyond — including refinishing, reupholstering, or structural alteration — voids the warranty on the affected piece or component.

Fabric & Leather Wear

Gradual fading, pilling, or surface wear on upholstery fabric under normal use conditions is considered part of the natural aging of the material. Leather that has been allowed to dry out through lack of conditioning is not covered under warranty. We recommend annual leather conditioning and following the care instructions provided with your piece.

Commercial Use

Our warranty applies to furniture used in a private residential setting. Pieces purchased for use in commercial, rental, hospitality, or office environments are not covered under our standard residential warranty unless a separate commercial warranty agreement has been arranged in writing.

How to Make a Warranty or Maintenance Claim

Making a claim is straightforward. We want to resolve your concern as quickly as possible.

Step 1 — Contact Us

Reach out to Grove Furniture & Beyond through any of the following:

  • Visit us in person at our Amman showroom
  • Call our customer care line during business hours
  • Send us a message through our website contact form or WhatsApp number

Please have your purchase invoice or order number ready when you contact us, as this allows us to locate your order and verify your warranty status immediately.

Step 2 — Describe the Issue

Tell us what the problem is and when you first noticed it. If possible, send photographs or a short video of the defect — this allows our team to make an initial assessment before scheduling a visit, which often speeds up the resolution.

Step 3 — Assessment

Depending on the nature of the issue, we will either assess the claim remotely based on the images you provide, or we will schedule an in-home visit by one of our technicians at a time that is convenient for you. There is no charge for this assessment on any valid warranty claim.

Step 4 — Resolution

Once the defect or issue has been confirmed, we will advise you of the resolution — whether that is an in-home repair, a component replacement, or a full piece replacement — and agree a timeline with you. We aim to resolve all warranty claims within a reasonable period from the date of the assessment visit.

Furniture Care & Maintenance Service

Beyond the warranty period, Grove Furniture & Beyond offers an ongoing paid maintenance and care service for all furniture purchased from us. This service is available to all customers regardless of warranty status and includes:

  • In-home technical assessment and diagnosis of any furniture issue
  • Wood surface touch-up, refinishing, and scratch repair
  • Mechanism repair and replacement — drawer guides, hinges, soft-close systems, table locks
  • Re-gluing and re-securing of loose joints and structural components
  • Hardware replacement in matching or complementary finishes
  • Professional upholstery cleaning and conditioning

General Warranty Terms

  • All warranty claims must be supported by a valid proof of purchase from Grove Furniture & Beyond (invoice, receipt, or order confirmation)
  • This warranty applies to furniture purchased and delivered within Jordan
  • Grove Furniture & Beyond reserves the right to make a final determination on whether a reported issue constitutes a manufacturing defect or customer-caused damage, based on the assessment of our technician
  • Where a replacement piece is provided, the replacement carries the same original warranty terms from the original purchase date, not from the date of replacement
  • This warranty does not affect any statutory consumer rights you may have under Jordanian consumer protection law
  • Grove Furniture & Beyond's liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective piece or component. We are not liable for indirect losses, loss of use, or any consequential damages arising from a product defect.
  • Warranty terms and coverage periods on specific brands or collections may vary. Where a brand carries its own manufacturer warranty — such as Magnussen Home or Legacy Classic — we will assist you in coordinating any claim directly with the manufacturer where applicable.
